Internship Opportunites

Professional internships are available for students and graduates seeking challenging placements with companies engaged in leading edge research on capability development in infrastructure resilience and physical protection. These placements are offered to the brightest students with experience in the discipline and the right skills for the company. These paid placements have awarded young professionals the opportunity to travel abroad, acquire materials for their Master’s dissertations and obtain experience in multinational companies.

Working with the employer, the CRCI provides research supervision and professional development guidance, either in conjunction with the employer’s training scheme or directly. Throughout the program, the emphasis is on competency development following the Institution of Civil Engineers Chartered Engineer model and the Register of Security Engineers and Specialists competency criteria. Appropriate equivalent professional institution competency criteria can also be supported.
