The Control Systems Thrust seeks to explore possibilities in how infrastructure and network systems can be controlled, the potential dangers or threats to the workings of the control systems and the resiliency of the system, should such an event occur. The field is becoming increasingly important and plays a key role in incident management and public safety and security. The primary research focus within this research is technological support systems and supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA).
