Speakers
- Jim Rosenbluth, recently retired from Cushman & Wakefield as their global head of crisis management and now consults independently, as well as being co-Chair of the US Homeland Security Task Force. He will be speaking about ‘location risk’ and how the understanding of the hazards associated with a specific location and the city’s ability to respond to those hazards can influence business investment decisions and resilience planning.
- Nick Martyn, Founder and CEO of RiskLogik, part of Deep Logic Solutions. He will be speaking about advances in risk and dependency modelling over the last few years and offer a vision of the near future where we can stimulate a dependency model to illustrate what the direct and indirect consequences are of planning decisions when stressed by incidents and trends.
- Antonio Gómez –Palacio, Principal at DIALOG and leader of their urban planning practice. He will be speaking about the Resilient Community Framework, which allows the city planner to stimulate resilient communities through adjustments to community planning priorities and development.
